During the spring, summer, and fall, clinical and education operations responded quickly to COVID-19. With operations back in full swing, leadership in the department expanded, a new faculty member was hired, and a new Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Council were formed. Artificial Intelligence researchers have been working on five projects this year in neuroradiology. Other research faculty received NIH funding for novel non-invasive ICAD methods and work focusing on electroconvulsive therapy. The faculty also assisted an archeology student in a study covered by National Geographic using micro-CT.
