What You’ll Do:
- Cover both the flagship tertiary academic medical center (working with excellent and motivated residents) and NM community hospitals in a mix of evenings and overnights, with a group that prioritizes work satisfaction and volume management to minimize list-associated stressors.
- The schedule is 1 on 2 off, with frequent trades within the group to accommodate individual needs. Case mix is typical for ER work, including neuro, and body CTs, plain-films, US and occasional emergent MRIs.
- Interpret a wide spectrum of emergency imaging studies in a high-acuity, fast-paced environment.
- Collaborate closely with emergency medicine, trauma teams and other referring specialties to guide diagnostic and treatment strategies
- Contribute to quality improvement and innovation in emergency radiology practice.
Who We’re Looking For:
- Board-certified or board-eligible radiologist with fellowship training or significant experience in emergency radiology or general diagnostic radiology
- Commitment to clinical excellence, teamwork, and education
- Enthusiasm for working in an academic, patient-centered environment
This position is a continuing appointment, non-tenure eligible, Health System Clinician, at the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine. Salary and benefits are highly competitive. The successful candidate will find a wealth of clinical, research, and teaching opportunity at their disposal. There are many opportunities to engage in academic activity including teaching and research, but these are not requirements of the position.

Nuclear Medicine Faculty Position
The Department of Radiology at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine is currently accepting applications for a full-time faculty position in the Division of Nuclear Medicine. Applicants should have an M.D. degree or equivalent and have an Illinois Medical license prior to the appointment start date. Candidates for this position must hold board certification in Diagnostic Radiology from the American Board of Radiology (ABR) and Nuclear Medicine from the American Board of Nuclear Medicine (ABNM) or subspeciality certification of Nuclear Radiology from the ABR. Academic rank at FSM and salary will be commensurate with experience.
Qualified candidates will have considerable expertise in all aspects of clinical nuclear medicine, including general nuclear medicine, therapy and hybrid molecular imaging (PET/CT, SPECT/CT and PET/MR).
Remote reading with at-home work stations and IT support will be provided. Salary, incentive compensation, signing bonus, and benefits are highly competitive.
