Thank you for your interest in making a donation to the Department of Radiology. Our department is supported by funds from private philanthropy and government and institutional grants. While every source of funding is important, private philanthropic support is especially vital to the success of the department's research activities. Over the years, the generosity of alumni, friends, and patients has enabled us to attract new physicians and scientists, and to initiate a number of projects that have led to major developments in research and treatment.
For your convenience, a number of giving options are available. These include outright gifts, appreciated assets such as securities, and pledges payable over a three- to five-year period. We also have multiple established funds to which you may donate.
- Albert A. Nemcek Jr., MD, Fund*: Fund created to endow an education professorship in radiology in the name of Dr. Albert A. Nemcek Jr.
- Lee F. Rogers, MD, Fund*: Fund created to endow a professorship in medical education in the name of Dr. Lee Rogers.
- Northwestern Radiology Unrestricted Fund: Funds used to support the department’s most urgent needs.
- Robert L. Vogelzang Interventional Radiology Education Fund*: Funds used to encourage interest, education, and research in the field of interventional radiology through support of trainee participation in and attendance at selected national interventional radiology meetings.
*The physician for which this fund is named will be notified of all gifts made to eponymous gift designations.
