Golestani Rad, Laleh

Laleh Golestani Rad

Assistant Professor of McCormick School of Engineering, Physical Therapy and Human Movement Sciences and Radiology

Rad came to Northwestern University in 2018. She is an engineer and scientist with expertise in the application of computational electromagnetic techniques for the safety assessment of medical imaging and therapeutic devices. Her work focuses on application of computational modeling to guide hardware design, safety assessment and the optimization of imaging protocols for MRI scans in patients with conductive implants.

Mouli, Samdeep K

Samdeep K Mouli

Assistant Professor of Radiology (Vascular and Interventional Radiology)

Mouli specializes in using imaging to treat solid organ malignancies in liver, pancreatic and prostate cancer. He uses translational research to advance application of minimally invasive therapies for cancer treatment.

Leaver, Amber M

Amber M Leaver

Research Assistant Professor of Radiology (Basic and Translational Radiology Research)

Leaver came to Northwestern University in 2018. Her investigations use precision neuroimaging to investigate electrical neuromodulation therapies in relation to mental health and depression, chronic tinnitus, noninvasive electrical neuromodulation technologies and applied connectomics.

Lin, Kai

Kai Lin

Research Associate Professor of Radiology (Basic and Translational Radiology Research)

Lin has been a research assistant professor since 2012. He has a broad background in quantitative cardiovascular imaging with expertise in coronary artery MRI. His investigations focus on coronary artery disease in patients suffering type 2 diabetes mellitus, as well as evaluating cardiovascular response to treatments for cancer, lupus, Alzheimer’s disease and Parkinson’s disease.
