Advancing clinical and translational research to benefit patients is at the core of our research programs. Our faculty members conduct investigational studies in a variety of radiology subspecialty areas from the brain and heart to the enhancement of informatics and technology resources. Additionally, we participate in multicenter clinical research trials that bring the latest treatment strategies to our patients. Future leaders in radiology require not only clinical but also research training. Northwestern Radiology mentors the next generation of clinical investigators by providing numerous research opportunities for residents and fellows as well as medical and graduate students.
