Robert L. Vogelzang, Interventional Radiology Education Fund
Income from this fund shall be used to encourage interest, education, and research in the field of Interventional Radiology. The awards will be designated for supporting trainee interest, especially medical students, in Interventional Radiology through participation and attendance at selected national Interventional Radiology meetings.

Albert A. Nemcek, Jr., MD Fund
The radiology department is currently raising money to establish an endowed professorship in Interventional Radiology in the name of Albert A. Nemcek, Jr., MD., and an esteemed colleague who has excelled in every aspect of academic Radiology over the past three decades. The expendable income generated by this fund will go to support the professional goals of a distinguished faculty member in Radiology who shall be known as the Albert A. Nemcek, Jr., MD Professor in Interventional Radiology, within the Feinberg School of Medicine, Northwestern University. The Professor shall be selected in accordance with Northwestern’s policies for endowed professorships.

Northwestern Radiology Unrestricted Fund
The Unrestricted fund is a critical resource for the Department of Radiology, and is used to support a wide variety of educational and research programs that are otherwise unsupported, or develop urgently. Donations allow the Department broad latitude to support urgent needs. These funds can also provide critical start-up funds for innovative projects. To our donors: because you set no restrictions on the use of your gift, the department can assess its needs and use the funds accordingly.

Donor-Restricted Fund
The Department can also set up a donor–restricted fund in your name, or a name you select, should you wish to support specific areas in which you would like to concentrate your philanthropy. Examples could include support of educational programs for medical students, residents and fellows, support of travel to present research results, support of a visiting professor program with specific objectives, support for the conduct of disease specific research projects that are otherwise under supported, and any other worthy effort of interest.
